About the Book

Soul Machine, presented within the archives under its inner title The Spirit Machine, is an interactive, bilingual (English/Persian) digital codex by the author Morindok. It takes the form of 101 illuminated plates — an "anatomical cartography of the soul" that dissects, in poetic and symbolic language, the imagined architecture connecting human being, cosmos, and the mechanism that binds them.

Each plate pairs a generated line-art illustration in the tradition of sacred geometry with a set of glowing hotspots. Selecting a hotspot reveals a short "revelation" — an esoteric commentary drawn from a wide symbolic vocabulary: the Tree of Life, chakras and kundalini, Platonic solids, the Flower of Life, Metatron's Cube, the Merkaba, the golden ratio, DNA imagery, and speculative ideas about consciousness. The artwork is generated procedurally in the browser from twenty recurring themes, so every reading of the codex renders crisp, resolution-independent SVG.

The reader is fully interactive: turn pages one by one, jump to any folio from I to CI, and switch the entire interface between English and Persian with a single click. The book is free to read online at morindok.github.io/soul-machine.

How to Read

• Open the reader and enter the passphrase when prompted (the passphrase is the author's name in lowercase — it is a stylistic gate for the experience, not a protection mechanism, and it is visible in the page's public source).
• Use the PREVIOUS / NEXT buttons, the folio number box, or your keyboard's arrow keys; press Esc to close a plate.
